Inhibitor für pankreatische Ribonuclease aus roten Blutzellen

Abstract
An inhibitor of pancreatic RNAase from red blood cells, previously described by Rost, was purified from rabbit reticulocytes and further characterized. Pancreatic RNAase is non-competitively inhibited, while RNAase T1 and RNAase I from Es-cherichia coli are not inhibited. The inhibitor was purified 100-fold using ammonium sulfate precipitation and DEAE-cellulose chromatog- raphy. It is apparently a protein having a molecular weight between 5x 104 and 1x 105. Similar inhibitors have been found in lower concentrations in erythrocytes from rabbit, pig, and sheep, but not from cattle.
