Abstract
A small rotating prism switched ruby giant pulse laser is reported which, with the aid of a specially designed resonant reflector and moderate cooling, delivers all its available power (∼25 MW) in a spectral width of <0.01 Å. It can be used as the oscillator of a high power amplifying system. Keywords
