Abstract
A considerably improved method has been developed for the absolute determination of diffusion coefficients from current‐time measurements. It is based on the use of stationary finite disk electrodes. Until recently, the current functions for these could be only approximately determined; they have now been calculated exactly by numerically solving the two‐dimensional diffusion equation. The same simple experimental conditions for apparatus and measuring apply as are usual for routine electroanalytical measurements. The experimental results are in close agreement with the classical data of Stackelberg et al. [8]. To facilitate evaluation and interpretation various working curves are presented. This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
