Abstract
In this paper we describe how the technique of computer modelling has been used to simulate dynamic problems in the field of ion-crystal interactions. It is the purpose of the paper to illustrate the advantages and limitations of the technique. This is achieved by discussing a number of applications which are of current interest: surface scattering, surface relaxation, radiation damage and channelling. Keywords
