Guided-Resonance Induced Absorption Enhancement in Silicon Nanowire Arrays for Photovoltaic Application

Abstract
We simulate the optical properties of silicon nanowire arrays using the transfer matrix method. Results reveal that guided resonances in nanowire arrays with proper size can greatly enhance the absorption of solar radiation.Keywords
