Triangular diagram for humus composition in various types of soils

Abstract
The production, decomposition, and regeneration of three humus fractions, fulvic acid (FA), humic acid (HA), and humin always take place in soil and these fractions may always shift from one to another to secure the equilibrium of the characteristic humus composition of the soil. Thus the distribution pattern of organic matter in these three fractions is considered to be one of the most important characteristics of humus in various types of soils.
