Abstract
Summary Benzyl N-benzyl carbethoxy-hydroxamate (W-398) was found to inhibit in vitro cholesterol biosynthesis. Evidence has been obtained to indicate that the stage of inhibition is prior to the formation of mevalonic acid.Keywords
