Isolation of Rubella Virus from a Mother and Fetus

Abstract

This study reports isolation of rubella virus from a primagravida in the first month of pregnancy and subsequent recovery of the agent from viable fetal tissue delivered by uterine curettage 57 days after onset of the maternal exanthem.
