The spin–spin interactions are evaluated for Pr3+ (4f2), Nd3+ (4f3), Er3+ (4f11), and Tm3+ (4f12) using the expressions of the matrix elements of the spin–spin interaction for all the states arising from f2 and f3 electron configurations reported earlier by us.
