Abstract
SUMMARY: Ovaries from rats about 7 days old were cut into halves, soaked in glycerol-saline, frozen to − 79° C, thawed and implanted subcutaneously in adult ovariectomized females. Part of the implanted tissue decayed, but the rest, including some of the follicles and ova, recovered rapidly and formed functional grafts. Keywords
