Abstract
THIS study discusses the clinical, antigenic and prophylactic effects of the measles vaccine in a group of institutionalized and home-dwelling children in Cleveland.Plan of StudyVaccine Employed and Method of AdministrationAliquots of lots 136E (vaccine A) and 913D (vaccine B) were used in the present study. The method of production of these vaccines has previously been described. The vaccine was kept at -60°C. in 1-ml. ampoules until used. All subjects received 0.5 ml. of vaccine subcutaneously in the upper arm.Laboratory MethodsComplement-fixing-antibody titers were determined on all serums according to the micro method of Fulton and Dumbell. . . .
