Abstract
The clinicopathological signs of renal failure induced in rats by weekly i.v. administration of the antitumor agent cis-diamminedichloroplatinum(II) were prevented by pretreatment with furosemide. Weight loss, anemia and generalized toxic effects of the drug were not effected by furosemide.
