Abstract
Previous studies of the decay of active nitrogen have been extended to higher temperatures. A more detailed treatment of the results suggests that surface recombination of nitrogen atoms may be either first or zero order. Rate constants for both the surface and the homogeneous recombination of nitrogen atoms are reported. The latter shows a slight positive temperature coefficient. Keywords
