Abstract
Reductive eliminations by treatment of acetylated halohydrins with Zn powder in ethanol containing acetic acid are described. The examples include a purine, a pyrimidine and a disaccharide derivative. The procedure allows facile access to 2,3-dideoxy-2-enoside derivatives. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
