Abstract
A patient who had developed a postpartum inhibitor to factor VIII and who did not respond to repeated therapy with steroid and high‐dose intravenous gammaglobulin G was treated with one short course of low‐dose recombinant interferon α 2a (rhlFN) s.c. Within 7 weeks from the start of rhlFN treatment, the inhibitor disappeared. It remains undetectable 8 months after therapy. Keywords
