Notizen: Eiweißzusammensetzung des Serums normaler Albinoratten

Abstract

Mean values of protein fractions as found by the authors in comparison with those obtained by other investigators showed non-random deviations throughout. The effect of environmental conditions, nutrition, and differences peculiar to the strain of animals used on the mean values of the various protein fractions as possible sources of such errors,is to be considered. Variation due to different methods of evaluation should also probably be taken into account. So long as these questions cannot be answered fully it seems to follow as a practical consequence that a comparison of mean values in electrophoretic studies of rat serum can be made only within the uniform field of work of a single investigator.
