Bone Involvement in Malignant Lymphoma

Abstract
In a series of 288 cases of malignant lymphomata of all vars. seen during the period 1936 to 1945 at the Tumor Clinic of the Massachusetts General Hosp., 13% were found to present involvement of bone. The spine was the most common site. Giant follicular lymphoma involved the skeletal system in a disproportionately low degree, reticulum cell sarcoma in a relatively high degree. No significant age or sex predilection for bone involvement was found.
