Reported Imagery and Two Spatial Tests

Abstract
Psychology students (48) were chosen to form groups characterized by high or low reported Controllability of Visual Imagery and high or low reported Vividness of Imagery, balanced for sex within each group. All subjects completed the Flags Test and the revised form board. These 2 spatial tests bear different relationships to reported imagery, and even when there is a positive correlation, it is nowhere near large enough to justify interchanging self-reports of imagery with scores on spatial tests.
