Abstract
Inelastic electron scattering from Ce (50 and 65 MeV, 93°, 129° and 165°) had shown evidence for an Ml and an E2 resonance at 8.7 and 12.0 MeV, respectively. These assignments have been confirmed by DWBA calculations. Reduced transition probabilities are derived for the resonances mentioned, and for the giant E1 resonance.
