A STUDY OF NATURAL GROWTH AND OSSIFICATION IN HEREDITARY DWARF MICE1

Abstract
The growth of the dwarf mice follows a curve peculiar to these animals, differing from the normal chiefly between the 17th and 35th days. Most dwarfs are distinguishable at 7 to 9 days of age. Dwarfs are permanently short-tailed, and show a greater wt. and activity variation than normals. Adult dwarfs are lighter per unit body-length than normals.
