Abstract
There is great interest in the behaviour of amorphous semiconductors, and considerable efforts are being made to devise theoretical interpretations of experimental observations. After a brief review of some of the experimental evidence, this paper discusses theoretical ideas concerning the electronic states and electrical transport in amorphous semiconductors being developed by various workers. Keywords
