Abstract
A variant of normal fetal pigment was found in a sample of cord blood of an infant. On paper at pH 6.7 and on starch-gel at pH 6.8 it migrated anodically just ahead of hemoglobin F. At pH 8.4 it migrated with hemoglobin A. It resisted alkali denaturation. Keywords
