Abstract
Histologic study of the capillary bed contained within the pulps of human teeth shows components which differ as to the presence or absence of muscle in their walls. The vessels which supply the capillary network of the pulp are metarterioles and precapillaries with their sphincters. Arteriovenous anastomoses are also found in the pulp. Keywords
