Abstract
The electrical conductivity and NMR relaxation of dehydrated synthetic zeolites of the types A and X with various cations have been investigated. Also the effect of sorbed inert molecules and occlusion of salts on the electrical conductivity of zeolites has been investigated. In all the cases, the sorption of inert molecules and occlusion of salts leads to an increase in the ionic conductivity and to a decrease in the activation energy. On the basis of the results obtained a model of electrical conduction with a ’’cationic conduction band’’ is proposed. This publication has 10 references indexed in Scilit:
