Abstract
Leaf callus cultures of the succulent plant Bryophyllum daigremontianum have been shown to possess an endogenous circadian rhythm of carbon dioxide metabolism. The rhythm persists in total darkness and at a uniform temperature, the phase being determined by the time at which prolonged darkness begins. This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
