Abstract
The intrinsic fluorescence of bovine platelet myosin was found to change upon addition of the substrate or its analogs in a manner similar to that of rabbit skeletal muscle myosin. The result suggests that the mechanism of ATP cleavage is analogous for myosins from diverse origins.Keywords
