Abstract
Linkage data and descriptions of 26 mutants in cultivated barley are presented. Four new genes are assigned to chromosome 1, three to 2, two to 3, four to 6 and five to 7. Approximate locations of 8 of these genes within their respective linkage groups are indicated. Evidence suggestive of two-gene control with interaction for some of the mutant traits is presented, and a method of analysis for determining the gene-recombination with marker genes, when this control is by dominant-and-recessive epistasis, is discussed. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
