COCCIDIOIDAL GRANULOMA

Abstract
The study of this disease is still in the stage in which an intensive study of single cases is desirable. Many points concerning it remain obscure, and the condition is known only to a few physicians in the infected localities. For this reason, a somewhat detailed investigation was made of a rather unusual case, the results of which are here recorded. REPORT OF A CASE A man, now aged 33, in 1911 went to California from Chicago and worked in the Mojave Desert with a surveying crew. He had been troubled with epileptic seizures since he was 14 years old, and for this reason left Chicago, where he had always lived, thinking a change of climate would be beneficial.
