Abstract
The effects of nitrofurantoin on spermatogenesis was determined in 36 young healthy volunteers, 19-35 years of age. Testicular biopsy and/or semen analysis were undertaken. No significant change was noted in 23 individuals. In 13 cases a temporary decrease in the sperm counts was observed but no changes could be detected in the testicular biopsies of 6 of these individuals.Keywords
