SUMMARY We have described a new method of making diffusion chambers, utilizing a waterproof plastic tape to seal Millipore filters together. Such chambers have been shown to be competent to isolate cellular explants for in vivo culture. They have resulted in numerous technical advantages when compared to diffusion chambers made of lueite rings; no significant disadvantages have been experienced.
