Abstract
The crossed slotted tube resonator (CSTR) is presented as an NMR detection system for induction and double resonance experiments. The intensity of the magnetic rf field and the filling factor are calculated. The construction of the CSTR comprising matching and tuning network is given in detail. A helically twisted feedline saves space in the geometric length, keeps free space for the sample tube, and simplifies the balancing. High decoupling by simple mechanical adjusting favors the well‐known advantages of an induction detection system. Keywords
