Abstract
The availability of lysine, isoleucine, threonine and methionine was determined in three samples of maize grown under different fertilizer conditions. No significant differences in availability were found among the three samples for the respective amino acids. Methods for the determination of biological availability of amino acids are discussed briefly. Keywords
