Thermodynamic considerations in co-ordination. Part XX. A computerised approach as an alternative to graphical normalised curve fitting as a means of detecting oligonuclear complexes in metal ion–ligand solutions and its application to the zinc(II)–, lead (II)–, and proton–glycine peptide systems

Abstract
A computer program, PSEUDOPLOT, is reported as an alternative to the normalised-curves approach for selecting a set of formation constants necessary to define a system of competing equilibria. The selection of constants to describe the zinc(II) and lead(II) complexes of glycinate, glycylglycinate, and glycylglycylglycinate are reported as examples of the use of PSEUDOPLOT. Protonated and hydroxo-complexes have been identified.
