Some Observations on the Cortico-Adrenal Hormone

Abstract
Extracts of ox adrenal containing 40 gm. of whole gland per cc. and less than 1:2,000,000 parts of adrenalin, obtained by a modified Swingle-Pfiffner technique, restored adrenalectomized animals, produced a rise in blood sugar level differing from that due to adrenalin, and only slightly affected the high blood N.P.N. level of adrenalectomized animals.
