Effect of tilting on plasma catecholamine levels in man

Abstract
The effect on the plasma adrenaline and noradrenaline levels of tilting normal volunteers to 30° from the horizontal was studied. Both the adrenaline and noradrenaline levels rose significantly. This rise was of a transient nature, both the adrenaline and noradrenaline levels were approaching the resting levels 25 min after tilting. Neither the pulse rate nor blood pressure was affected by tilting.
