Ultrasonic diagnosis of a hypernephroma metastatic to the thyroid gland and external jugular vein.

Abstract
A 60-yr-old man with a painless neck mass had undergone a nephrectomy for hypernephroma 13 yr earlier. Ultrasound evaluation revealed a mass within the thyroid gland and a 2nd one in the ipsilateral jugular vein. At surgery, the masses proved to be metastatic hypernephroma.
