Darstellung und Eigenschaften des Nitrenkomplexes (C5H5)2VNSiMe3 Zur Reaktion von Vanadocen mit Silylaziden [1] / Reaction of Vanadocene with Silyl Azides Preparation and Properties of the Nitrene Complex (C5H5)2 VNSiMe3 [1]

Abstract
The silyl azides R3SiN3 (R = Me, Ph) react with dicyclopentadienyl vanadium Cp2V under formation of (Cp2V)2NSiMe3 and Cp2VNSiPh3, respectively. By reaction with Me3SiN=NSiMe3, (Cp2V)2NSiMe3 is transformed into CpVNN(SiMe3)2 and Cp2VNSiMe3 (la). According to X-ray analysis, 1a contains a linear V≡N-Si-group. 1a decomposes under formation of (CpV)2(NSiMe3)3. Reaction of 1a with Me3SnCl leads to [CpVCl(NSiMe3)]2 (two isomers).
