Elastic scattering of positive pions onC12at 49.9 MeV

Abstract

Differential cross sections for the elastic scattering of positive pions on ${}_{}{}^{12}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{C}$ at 49.9 MeV were measured. The results differ from those deteermined by other investigators. The data are analyzed in terms of ${\pi }^{+}$ nucleus partial waves and are compared to various model calculations.
