Abstract
The most recent occurrence of Aturia so far collected in New Zealand or elsewhere is a specimen from Bluecliff, Te Waewae Bay, Southland (Kapitean Stage). Its occurrence supports the uppermost Miocene age attributed to the Kapitean Stage. Keywords
