Abstract
The mean blood and packed cell of the adult rat (Sprague Dawley strain) as measured by dilution of tagged erythrocytes was found to be 4.9 and 2.3 ml. per 100 g. of body wt., respectively. Perfusion reduced these values by 95% for the entire rat. It was least effective for spleen and most effective for kidney and brain. Keywords
