SU(3) Heavy-Quark Potential with High Statistics

Abstract
The results of a high-statistics calculation of the SU(3) heavy-quark potential are presented. The validity of scaling is tested quantitatively. New results are given for the string tension and the strength of the long-range Coulomb term in the potential.Keywords
