Radiofrequency Spectroscopy of Hydrogen Fine Structure inn=3,4,5

Abstract

All of the fine-structure intervals in the hydrogen $n=3,4\mathrm{}$ manifolds and all but the $F-G$ transitions in $n=5\mathrm{}$ have been measured using radiofrequency spectroscopy on a fast hydrogen beam. The experimental results are in agreement with theoretical predictions.
