Abstract
The ion-ion mutual neutralization cross section for + has been measured over the barycentric energy range from 0.15 to 300 eV using a merged-beam technique. The results are compared with theoretical calculations and with a recent higher energy experimental measurement. An estimate of the thermal rate coefficient is made.
