Surface Impedance of Superconducting Tin, Mercury, and Lead at 9200 Mc/Sec.

Abstract

Surface resistance and the change of surface reactance of three superconducting metals (Sn, Hg, Pb) have been measured. The results were evaluated in terms of the penetration depth $\lambda$ of Londons' theory (Figs. 6, 8) and the limiting values of $\lambda$ for $T=0\mathrm{}$ were obtained (Table I).
