Kr86(d,p)Kr87 Reactions and Comparisons with (d,p) Reactions on Sr88, Zr90, and Mo92

Abstract
Eleven energy levels in Kr87 were located by the Kr86(d,p)Kr87 reaction. The excitation energies of the levels are ground state, 0.55, 1.52, 2.17, 2.34, 2.57, 2.89, 3.09, 3.31, 3.65, and 3.97 MeV. The orbital-angular-momentum transfer as well as the spectroscopic factors were deduced for the predominant transitions with the aid of distorted-wave Born-approximation calculations. A comparison between the proton spectra obtained by the (d,p) reaction on the Kr86, Sr88, Zr90, and Mo92 isotones all of which have a closed shell (N=50) of neutrons, but different numbers of proton pairs, is discussed.
