Abstract
Four cases of sclerosing epithelial hamartoma were examined for the presence of carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) by the unlabeled antibody peroxidase-antiperoxidase method but could not detect CEA in these lesions. Because syringomas contain CEA, the detection of this antigen is a useful marker for differentiating sclerosing epithelial hamartomas form syringomas.This publication has 13 references indexed in Scilit:
