Recent Developments in Multichannel, Photodiode-Array, Optical LC Detection

Abstract

A brief review of recent developments in multichannel, photodiode-array LC optical detectors is presented. Types of photodiode arrays employed in both multichannel ultraviolet/visible light (UV/VIS) absorbance detectors and fluorescence detectors are discussed. Due to the information-rich nature of these detectors, special attention is given to spectral data interpretation techniques and approaches. Applications for analyses of pharmaceutical drugs and hydrocarbons are shown in order to illustrate major points.
