Boson Echoes: A New Tool to Study Phonon Interactions

Abstract
The phenomenon of boson echoes, which presents some similarities with the spin-echo phenomenon, is explained in terms of phonons. In particular, the nature of the two relaxation times and is explored, and they are ascribed to anharmonic and impurity scattering processes, respectively.
