A New Cestode, Oochoristica pennsylvanica, and Some New or Rare Helminth Host Records from Pennsylvania Mammals

Abstract
O. pennsylvanica is descr. from Blarina brevicauda. New host records are: Catenotaenia pusilla from Pitymys pinetorum; Macracanthorhynchus ingens from Mustela vison, Mephitis nigra, Urocyon cinereoargenteus, and Parascalops breweri; Porrocaecum encapsulation in Parascalops breweri; P. americanum in Blarina brevicauda, Sorex (fumaris?), and Parascalops breweri; Strongyloides sp. in Procyon lotor; Rictularia onychomys in Peromyscus leucopus; and Gongylonema pulchrum in Euarctos americanus. Rare records are Ascaris laevis in Marmota monax; Trichostrongylus calcaratus in Ondatra zibethicus; and Gnathostoma spinigerum in Mustela vison.Keywords
