Abstract
A simple, floating input, high‐voltage measurement probe is described. The divider is purely capacitive and is completely isolated from earth. Optical fibers are used to transmit information to the recording instruments which can be operated at earth potential. The probe can easily be constructed in a laboratory and is adaptable to a wide range of voltages up to 1 MV. The unit built has a risetime of 80 nsec and exhibits good linearity and accuracy. Keywords
